Crystal Lee


Crystal Lee works with delicate gifts from Mother Earth. Brightly-coloured and often delicious, the flowers, berries and tea with which she makes art can be easily found in our kitchens and local markets. In her home, there is no such thing as food wastage — she collects dyes even from onion and avocado skins, which we usually throw away. London was where Crystal first fell in love with dyes, so much that she decided to experiment more upon returning home to Singapore. Almost magically, each shirt, bag and scarf she touches becomes splashed with the radiant hues of nature.
