Co:Creation Workshop is a social enterprise that provides experimental art education programmes to schools and organizations. We are a team of visual artists passionate about connecting schools, families and communities through art.

Co:Creation Workshop @ WCEGA Towers

Job Scope

  • Assist in the preparation of workshop materials
  • General maintenance of the studio materials and equipment
  • Support facilitators in workshops – handing out materials to participants, setting up the workshop space
  • Participate in workshops and programmes for community partners
  • Internship project – tailored to the strengths and interests of the intern, interns can focus on one to two projects during the course nternship.

Types of Internship Projects:

  • Content Creation – develop content for Co:Creation’s website and social media channels. It can be in the form of blog writing, photos and videos or audience engagement campaigns.
  • Programme Development – work with artists and facilitators to develop programme plans for different participant profiles.
  • Technique Research & Development – experiment on a series of art techniques, testing the techincal flow and creating sample outcomes
  • Accessibility Research and Development – develop accessible solutions for various programmes and products for diverse accessible needs.

Job Requirements

  • We are open to accepting students with a range of disciplines and interests. Students undergoing courses of study in Fine Art, Design, Media, Communications, and Business will find the internship activities most aligned.
  • Some basic requirements: punctuality, effective communication, and good attention to detail.

Job Scope

  • Deliver workshop content developed and designed by artists and educators at Co:Creation Workshop – lesson plan and facilitation materials will be provided
  • Undergo training and briefing sessions to prepare for the effective delivery of workshop content.
  • Encourage participants to experience art-making, in the Co:Creation way.

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Fine Art, Design, or Media
  • Undergone a form of pedagogical training. Examples: NIE Essentials of Teaching & Learning, Specialist Diploma in Arts Education or Teaching Arts in Early Childhood Environment.
  • At least 4 years of teaching experience preferred
  • A strong professional track record as a creative professional will be an advantage
  • NAC AEP, AMIS & MOE Instructor registration is a plus

  • Receive training and co:facilitation opportunities for the workshops of the facilitator’s choice.
  • Facilitators will be able to facilitate workshops that they have co:facilitated for and been trained in.

Work Arrangement

Job Scope

  • Before the start of the programme/workshop: set up the space, and check materials and equipment
  • During the programme/workshop: assist the facilitator with giving out materials and class management.
  • After the programme/workshop: pack up the materials and equipment to hand over to logistics services to return to the studio
  • Undergo training and briefing sessions to prepare for the workshop.
  • Encourage participants to experience art-making, in the Co:Creation way.

Job Requirements

  • Able to take on workshop opportunities on a freelance basis and respond promptly to workshop scheduling requests.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage workshop space and materials efficiently
  • Attention to detail to ensure that all materials and equipment are checked before and after the workshop
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Willingness to learn and undergo training/briefings to prepare for the workshop and develop skills further
  • Enthusiasm for art and education.
